This presentation will be entirely given over to Johannes Kepler. Why did he relocate to Linz from Prague? Who were his patrons? What was his position both in social and in professional terms? What was his stipend? What discoveries did he make in Linz and which of them are still significant today? Why did Kepler leave Linz again? What traces did his stay in Linz leave that are still discernible today?
