Stephan Doesinger

Stephan Doesinger (43) ist Gestalter, Autor und Herausgeber. Er lebt und arbeitet in München und hat seit einem Jahr ein Unternehmen in Linz. Er studierte an der Kunsthochschule Linz und an der Architectural Association in London. Während des Studiums arbeitete er bei Alessandro Mendini, Laurids Ordner und Ron Arad und gestaltete die OÖ-Landesausstellung zum Thema "Künstlerschicksale". Stephan Doesinger hatte Lehraufträge an der Architectural Association in London, der Universität für angewandte Kunst in Wien und zuletzt an der Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe.

Doesinger berät Verlage und entwickelte zahlreiche Zeitschriften, wie zum Beispiel Country Style, Q-Magazine, Hideaways, Penthouse oder Yachting & Style. Als Art & Creative Director entwickelt er Ausstellungen, Messeauftritte, Brandings, Projekte im öffentlichen Raum und Werbekampagnen. Seine Erfahrung aus der praktischen Arbeit bildet auch die Basis für seine theoretische Arbeit: In seinen Vorträgen und Fachbeiträgen setzt er sich seit vielen Jahren mit Datenschutz, Medien- und Architekturtheorie auseinander. Die theoretische Arbeit spiegelt sich aber auch in einem aktuellen Projekt wider, bei dem der Fokus auf dem "Design von Prozessen" liegt: 2010 gründete er in Linz ein Start-Up für eine Social Commerce Plattform für Möbel. Designern und Brands bietet die Plattform die Möglichkeit ihr eigenes Möbel-Label zu kreieren und bedruckte Möbel weltweit zu verkaufen.
