Andrzej Petryka

Andrzej Petryka (geboren in Warschau) studierte Psychologie und Pädagogik an der Warschauer Universität und absolvierte eine Gesangsausbildung an der Fréderic-Chopin-Musikuniversität Warschau. Zwischen 1976 und 1989 war er Solist an der Warschauer Kammeroper. Zahlreiche Gastspiele führten Petryka quer durch Europa (Österreich, Deutschland, Schweiz, Italien, Spanien, Großbritannien, Russland, Litauen, Tschechien, Slowakei). Sein Repertoire umfasst Rollen von der Barockzeit über die Klassik bis zur Moderne, Liederzyklen sowie Tenorpartien in Kantaten, Oratorien und Messen. Seit 1987 ist Petryka Ensemblemitglied am Landestheater Linz.

Urodzony w Warszawie. Absolwent Wydziału Psychologii i Pedagogiki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, oraz śpiewu – Akademii Muzycznej w Warszawie. W latach 1977 – 1987 solista Warszawskiej Opery Kameralnej. Z teatrem tym wystąpił w wielu krajach Europy Zachodniej (Austrii, Niemczech, Szwajcarii, Włoszech, Hiszpanii, Wielkiej Brytanii) a także w Rosji,na Litwie, w Czechach i Słowacji. W repertuarze – liczne role w operach barokowych, klasycystycznych i współczesnych, cykle pieśni, oraz wiele partii tenorowych w rozlicznych kantatach, oratoriach i mszach. Od 1987 roku zatrudniony w Landestheater Linz,w Austrii.
