Irene Dyk-Ploss

Irene Dyk-Ploss (born 1947) was Professor of Social Policy at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz until September 2009. The topics she has done most of her research on and on which she has also widely published are the labour market, social and educational policies, political parties and elections. Her research priorities also include special needs and feminist issues. In addition to her academic work, Dyk-Ploss pursued a political career for more than twenty years as a member of the Provincial Assembly, as a journalist, social worker and in further education.
