Heinz Plöderl

 

Heinz Plöderl (born 1960) graduated in architecture from Vienna  University of Technology and became an assistant professor at the Institute of Structural Engineering  [Institut für Hochbau] of the University of Technology, where he lectured from 1994 to 1998. From 1996 he was also involved in the summer academies of the Solarbauschule Vorarlberg. Since 1999 Plöderl has operated a civil engineering practice in Wels. He is one of the co-founders of IG Passivhaus Upper Austria and was its president from 2003 to 2006. In 2004 and 2005 Plöderl was a lecturer at “Überholz”, an M.A. course in building in timber at the University of Arts and Industrial Design Linz. Since then he has cooperated with a number of different architectural and civil engineering practices, which include AT4 Architekten ZTGmbH and PAUAT Architekten ZTGmbH.
