Ronald Weinberger

Ronald Weinberger (born 1948) read Astronomy und Physics at Vienna University, from which he graduated in 1972. He was a research assistant at the Max-Planck-Institut for Astronomy in Heidelberg between 1973 and 1976 before going on to Innsbruck University in 1977. In 1983 he habilitated and was appointed an associate professor in 1992. Weinberger has around 250 publications to his credit, 100 or so of which are popular science publications.
