Cornelia Klinger read Philosophy, Literary Studies and Art History in Cologne. Since 1983 she has been a permanent academic fellow of the Institute of Human Sciences in Vienna; in addition to this she has been an adjunct professor of philosophy at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität in Tübingen since 2003. The focus of her interest is on political philosophy, aesthetics, history of the theory of modernity and Gender Studies with regard to philosophy. Her new book, “Die Erfindung des Subjekts”, is about to be published by Suhrkamp Verlag.
