Isabel Kranz

Isabel Kranz (born in 1977) read Comparative Literature, American Studies and German as a Foreign Language at Augsburg University, Université Charles-de-Gaulle Lille III (France) and the Free University, Berlin. After earning her M.A. degree in August 2003, she spent a year as a visiting scholar at Yale University. She wrote her doctoral thesis on Walter Benjamin’s Arcades Project as a visiting fellow of the Bauhaus University in Weimar (Germany). Since January 2009 she has been research coordinator at the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften.
