Thomas Mohrs

On completion of a course of administrative training Thomas Mohrs (b.1961 in Koblenz) read philosophy, political science and history at Passau University, where he also obtained a PhD and his habilitation in philosophy. His primary areas of work are located within the field of Practical Philosophy. General and applied ethics, political philosophy (the philosophy of interculturalism and globalisation) and philosophical anthropology (with particular emphasis on evolutionary anthropology) are his main research areas. Mohrs has been resident in Austria since 1985; he is married and the father of four children.
