Claudia Wild

Claudia Wild (born 1960) graduated in Communication Studies and Psychology from Vienna University and in Political Science from Ohio University. In 1985 she took up a position in the Department of Communication Studies and Political Science of Nuremberg University and engaged in freelance research on the impact of the media and on media policies. Between 1989 and 2006 Claudia Wild worked as a researcher at the Institut für Technikfolgen-Abschätzung of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, where she was in charge of the establishment of Health Technology Assessment (HTA). Since 2006 Wild is the director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for HTA in Vienna.
