Markus Lehner

Markus Lehner (born 1957) graduated in Economics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz in 1979 and in Theology from the same university in 1992; this was followed by his habilitation in 1997 at the Faculty of Catholic Theology in Würzburg University. Between 1986 and 1994 Lehner was a research associate at Katholisch-Theologische Hochschule Linz, in 1995 he became head of Abteilung Caritaswissenschaft and in 1999 director of the Institut für Caritaswissenschaft at Katholisch-Theologische Privatuniversität Linz; he was also made an associate professor at the Institut. Since 2002 he has been head of the Studiengang Sozialmanagement at Campus Linz of FH Oberösterreich, and in 2007 he was put in charge of the Studiengänge Sozial- und Verwaltungsmanagement and Services of General Interest.
